I have been caring for people in the central Maine region for most of my adult life. Much of my career was spent in Emergency Medicine where I learned the importance of developing a therapeutic relationship with my patients. I also learned the reality of suffering and the impact of traumatic experiences on people. My practice is focused on providing patient centered, trauma sensitive care to those struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.
